Start with the free No Gameplay Demo linked from the official store to test recording in the desktop game before buying. The developer reports that some audio setups may fail to record in-game. In a browser, use HTTPS, grant microphone permission, select the intended input device and close other apps using the mic. A working browser test does not guarantee the desktop game will work.
